Where to find things in the UMSL University Libraries (Thomas Jefferson, St. Louis Mercantile, and State Historical Society)

Copiers & Scanners

  • Bookeye scanners are located on Level 3 and on Level 5.  There is no charge for scans.  You can either email your scans or save them to a flash/thumb drive.  Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, and Box are also now supported. For large (or color) scans, a flash/thumb drive is recommended.
  • A copier (Level 3) is available for a fee ($0.10 per copy for black & white and $0.20 per copy for color).  The copier accepts both bills and change.
  • A microform (microfilm and microfiche) scanner is available on Level 3.  You can either email scans or save them to a flash/thumb drive.  For large (or color) scans, a flash/thumb drive is recommended.

Printing (Library Research Commons / Computer Lab)

Printing is available via the TritonPrint system in the Library Research Commons only. Please ask a lab consultant for assistance.

The Library Research Commons is a compuiter lab run by UMSL's Instructional Support Services.  Additional policies and information regarding the campus computer labs is available on the Instructional Support pages.

Wireless Access

Wireless Access is available for UMSL faculty, staff, students, and guests of the university. Information and registration:

Laptops

As a precautionary measure due to COVID-19, Information Technology Services has recalled their laptops.  No laptops are available to be checked out for the foreseeable future.  If you don't have access to a computer at home, contact the IT Help Desk to discuss possible alternatives.
