Searching for a Specific Article

There are a few ways to find specific articles: 

  • Type citation information directly into the search bar. The first example below shows the result for insights into b cells moir 2013 (which includes words from the title, the author, and the publication date). 

Search for article by partial title, author, and/or date of publication

  • Paste one of the article’s ID numbers into the search bar. Examples include the PMID (PubMed ID), the PMCID (PubMed Central ID), and the DOI (digital object identifier).

Search for article by DOI or other ID number

  • Click the Single Citation Matcher link on the PubMed homepage and input any information you have.
