Although Discover@UMSL is a great way to search for eBooks, this tool does not capture all eBooks that you have access to through UMSL Libraries. We recommend also searching the following databases for eBook content:

We hold a limited amount of Japanese language materials. For non-English materials, it is helpful to use search terms in your target language (e.g., rekishi vs. history). In Discover, using the romanized version vs. kanji/hiragana/katakana (e.g., rekishi vs. 歴史) may return a different results list.
A consortium of academic, research, and public libraries that work together to share materials. It is free for you to request MOBIUS books! They will be sent to the Thomas Jefferson Library front desk for pickup.

As mentioned above, our library is organized using the Library of Congress classification system. Books about similar topics are grouped together. We recommend using the Discover@UMSL search if you are looking for a specific topic.
If you would still like to browse sections on Japanese history, language, etc., you can find most of these books on Level 1 or Level 4 of TJ Library.
