St. Louis Business Journal (individual account)

  • This is a separate account and should be different from your UMSL username and password.
  • Use the mail.umsl.edu (students) or umsl.edu (faculty & staff) format for your email address.  This verifies that you are with UMSL.
  • If you have a subscription tied to your campus email address and wish to use the campus version, contact the St. Louis Business Journal to cancel your personal subscription before you can register.
You MUST use your @UMSL.edu email address (xyz@mail.umsl.edu or xyz@umsl.edu)

New York Times (individual account)

  • This is a separate account and should be different from your UMSL username and password.
  • Use the mail.umsl.edu (students) or umsl.edu (faculty & staff) format for your email address.  This verifies that you are with UMSL.
  • If you already pay for a subscription tied to your campus email address and wish to use the campus version, contact the New York Times to cancel your personal subscription before you register for a campus subscription.
You MUST use your @UMSL.edu email address (xyz@mail.umsl.edu or xyz@umsl.edu).
These email addresses will forward into your umsystem.edu email account
  1. Navigate to AccessNYT.com
  2. Search for and select "University of Missouri-St Louis"  You will be redirected to the NYT registration page.
  3. Click "Create Account" and complete fields.
  4. Verify your account - you will receive a confirmation email).  Once you have established your account & subscription, you can access the New York Times from your computer, phone or tablet.
  5. You may occasionally be asked to re-verify your eligibility: https://www.nytimes.com/digitalpass
