Library Stamp Card Contest Rules

Contest Dates

Opens: August 14, 2024, 7:30 a.m.
Closes: December 6, 2024, 11 a.m.
 

Rules

Visit the help desk at TJ Library (main level) to pick up a card. Then, participate in one of the qualifying activities to earn a stamp. (If your activity is online, bring your card to the library’s help desk at your earliest opportunity to have it stamped. 

1 qualifying activity = 1 stamp
4 stamps = 1 filled card = 1 raffle entry

Turn in as many filled cards as you can before the contest closes. One entry will then be chosen in a blind drawing.

The winning student will receive a new Amazon Kindle. 

Only currently enrolled UMSL students are eligible to enter.
 

Qualifying Activities

• Attend a library event or workshop (either in person or online)
• Meet with a librarian
• Ask a question with our online chat
• Check out books (1 stamp per visit, not per book!)
• Suggest a book purchase (see the notebook near the help desk; 1 stamp per visit, not per book!) 
• Follow us on social media (@umsllibraries on Instagram, X, and/or Facebook)
• Share one of the library’s social media posts
