What we're looking for:
- Passionate and experienced topic facilitators who can engage participants
- Two co-facilitators for each session (preferably from different institutions)
- 5-7 minute presentations by each co-facilitator to introduce themselves and the topic
- Remainder of session should include hands-on and group activities that create engaging discussions for the session

- Scaffolding the Library Curriculum
- Play to Learn: Using our personal interests to be better teachers
- Evaluating Resources: More than just CRAAP
- Evolution of the ACRL Framework
- Teaching the why: explaining the value of information literacy
- Evolution of the learner from high school to post grad: similarities and differences
Presentation Format and Spaces
- 9 concurrent sessions scheduled for the day. 3 sessions will run during each time slot (see Schedule and Program)
- Each session is scheduled for 1 hour 15 minutes, and should include an active learning component
- Sessions will be held in three different locations in the UMSL Conference Center in the J.C. Penney Building depending on the needs of the presenters. Registration interest will determine where a session will be held.
- Each presentation area has a projector, podium tables and movable computer stand. Large rooms have microphones.
