The library guide on research data management is designed with the needs of UMSL faculty, students and staff in mind. Research data management is an evolving practice driven by  data management planning requirements of funding agencies and by thae advantages of greater access via the web. This guide attempts to provide researches with an understanding of research data management and to aid in the preparation of data management plans.
