Homecoming is a tradition as old as UMSL itself. Join us for a week of celebrating UMSL students and alumni, show your Triton Pride, and watch the fun of Homecoming unfold!
What started as a single day to help students relax during the end of the year and just be happy (mirth = happiness), has grown into a week of events to celebrate the most important part of UMSL...the students! You might find a carnival pop up, with rides, games and food. Or maybe get to see your favorite musician or comedian in a packed crowd at the Touhill. Mirthweek has fun for everyone.
"Students at the University of Missouri-St. Louis touch the Wayne Goode statue on campus to bring them good luck. Campus tradition also calls for fitting the statue with various T-shirts promoting the Tritons. Since its installation in 2006, the smiling statue has become the meeting place at the university that Goode helped create during a long career in public service."
