Use Snopes to look up stories you see on the internet to see its accuracy rating, and other sources you can visit to learn more.

This site works directly with Facebook to debunk misinformation. See if a story you have seen or even shared is listed as false.

A Pulitzer Prize winning fact checking site that features up to date news and stories. Use their Truth-O-Meter to see stories that qualify as true, mostly true, or not true at all.

A reverse image search can be done through google. Just click the camera to the right of the search bar, and upload an image you would like to search. This can be useful in trying to see how many times an image has been posted, and in what type of stories.

This website allows you to see if photos have been 'photo-shopped' or altered in any way.

Developed by Clemson University, "Spot the Troll" presents a number of social media profiles and posts from people online. It's up to you to determine whether or not the profiles are from real people, or if they are bots designed to spread mis/disinformation.
